The new demo is available from Avault, Strategy First http://www.strategyfirst.com/en/ and also Fileplanet for those that are members. This demo includes the Blue Sky Steel scenario and of course all the new features for UTC. If you have been thinking about getting the latest version of Trainz to see how much it has improved, then try the demo and check it out for yourself.CheersTony
HiHere's a possible demo trouble to look out for. I installed the demo ok and it runs ok also. The problem - I downloaded and installed Marias Pass part III and TrainZ couldn't find it.After some digging, I found it had installed into the TrainZ Demo directory instead of TrainZ where it should have gone. I'm assuming any downloaded equipment will now go to the wrong directory. I guess the Demo Shanghai'd the path in the Registry.GaryG
HiA followup to my earlier message about the demo screwing up my Trainz installation.I deleted the Demo and found I then couldn't install content packages any more. It said TrainZ wasn't installed even though I could still run it!I ended up deleting and reinstalling TrainZ, then doing the three updates to get TrainZ content updates working again. What a PITA!I thing Auran screwed this one up with both programs appearing to use the same registry entries for some items.GaryG
