Very nice Shawn! I like it! What program are you using to do the weathering? I experimented on some of my models, it came out OK, but I like the weathering you have done on your locos Keep up the good work >Mike Forster<

RE: Weathering Again..

Looks good Shawn! When I've tried to weather stuff it turns out mottled. One suggestion ..... the trucks are a nice dirty brown, as they always seem to get, but the fuel tank should match them if you can (not sure how the model is textured).krswen

it increases the amount of colors the sim can show on the unit, thus elimination of gradient colors being turned ugly, The compromise is windows are now 100% clear, leaving no room for glass textures

From where I sit (i.e. the height of ignorance when it comes to painting) it would seem that this compromise is more than acceptable; indeed, it's almost laudable. Speaking solely for m'self, I would rather have 'better' colors than textured glass. Textured glass has, in my experience seeing it, a tendency to 'stick out' and be noticeable. Go with what you've got; they look good.

Excellent work, Shawn. The loss of the window texture is more than worth the improved look of the weathering.Jonathan Nikiforovs.
