I have been running Canton and I wanted to create at least one activity and maybe more. The one that I wanted to create would have an RDC coming down the line and stopping to drop off passengers at Interchange for an Atlanta bound Crescent. The RDC would then reverse into the yard and wait while the Crescent arrived and then departed. The RDC would return to the station to pick up arriving passengers and reverse back up the mainline to Canton with stops along the way.The RDC has to reverse twice at the Interchange station and once in the yard. Then it will have to return over the same path to get to Canton. I must be dense but I cannot figure out how to set one reversing point much less three and two on the same location. Nor do I have any idea how to run the path back over itself. Can anyone direct me to a tutorial where I can get help. Obviously my therapist does not have the answer for this. Rick, President/CEO

RE: reverse, Reverse, REVERSE

Thanks for the recommendation. I have already spoken to Rich and he does not think that his book would help. Otherwise I would have ordered it already. I may not be able to do what I want anyway. Rich says that Canton does not have signals and having an AI and a player train cross paths on a non-signaled route does not work.I think that I will divide the activity into two sections. I will still need to place a reversing point but the paths will not cross.I still need to know how to set a reversing point. I cannot find where to do it. Exactly where in activity editor and what do you select? Just call me D D Dummy.Rick, President/CEO

RE: reverse, Reverse, REVERSE

Found it this morning. Of all places it was right there in front of my nose.Honest, I only had one small glass of wine with dinner. I must have been completely brain dead. I mean, I had to go to the exact same place to create a start point. It's sad when you get old, the eyes go, the brain goes and I absolutely refuse to discuss anything else that might go.Thanks.Rick, President/CEO

RE: reverse, Reverse, REVERSE

Rick,There used to be a really great tutorial for reverse points available at the NEC Track Team's website, but, alas, its no longer there. Here is a little info..http://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/DCForumID7/1689.htmlAlso, if you do a search, there have been numerous threads here on exactly how to place reverse points - it is an exact science! Good luck,MC
