Need assistance with H21a Hoppers

Hey Guys...I just imported my Pennsylvania Railroad H21a Hoppers into train-sim, only to find that half of it is sunken into the ground, and rotatd 90 degrees. Is there a way to fix this? I'll post pics later...

If you're using gmax, you need to retate the pivot of the object which you're using as your "main". I believe in the top view, the red arrow should be pointed to the left.Hope that helps. Projects

Select the "main" object, this would be the hopper body. Follow the photos below if you are using gmax or 3ds max:To fix this error we need to adjust the pivot: Resetting its rotation will fix the car's rotation and moving it up slightly will bring the car back onto the rails:This tutorial is somewhat lengthy (I have shown every step to make it easier to follow) and not guranteed to work; I may have made an error somewhere as I am just doing this without actually trying it because I don't have MSTS installed.

can you open 3DC, or 3DO files? I got a version vith trucks coupleres and the correct center of gravity, I'll foward it back to you if you can open it. no mapping though, ther whole thing has juct been flooded with a jeneric blue color.

Hi,I am starting a web page that will be a whole bunch of MSTS related tutorials. Including this one and the Boolean Operations, whcih is very handy when making ALCos! As I finish tutorials I will refer to the in my messages signatures and on the message board. There will be a link appearing in a few days! Hey Mike,Tom Pearce here. Yes I can open it in 3D canvas. Also, is the train sim wizard already set up for export into the game? That's were I seem to have been having the most trouble. If your interested, I also recently created a PRR Class B60b 63' Baggage car. It only needs custom trucks, couplers added, and the roof rounded in areas. Never tried importing into train simulator yet, so I have no idea what else might be wrong with it. If your interestd, just give me a holler, and I'll send it your way. PS: Any screenshots of it in the game?Also, to all those who posted replys, Thank you guys....
