I'm having trouble finding the consist editor. The option doesn't appear when I start the launcher. Could I get some help? Thanks

RE: consist editor

To get the consist editor you have to either edit the player service or a service in the traffic editor. If all you want to do is edit a consist, get Conbuilder, I think it is available in the DL Library.Kevin Arceneaux

RE: consist editor

Hee-hee, you left out the best part, Kevin! To edit a service, you first have to open the activity editor. And it's not really necessary to edit a service, all you have to do is;
1. Open the activity editor, open any activity.
2. Right click on the track in the map window, "place consist", then select "new".
3. Build consist with the consist builder, give it a name, save the consist and exit.
4. Exit the activity without saving it, the new consist (as long as it has an engine) will show up as a driveable consist for explore route.For changing what you drive in existing activities, take a squint at this;

RE: consist editor

To find the consist editor, go to the start menu, and then go to Microsoft GAmes, and finally to Editors and Tools. Under this listing, after you start it, you will find the Activity Editor.
Buried in the Activity Editor is the Consist Editor, and to find it takes some looking. Seems to me someone wrote an article on how to make a consist, and I can not find it at the moment.

RE: consist editor

I'm with Kevin, I cannot remember the last time I used the consist builder. Once you master all the features of conbuilder, you will never go back.

I had this problem when I first loaded MSTS - I found that you have to load EVERYTHING including the out of date Acrobat viewer.I keep trying Conbuilder - gives me an 'error on line 6' message every time. Any ideas?regards
