Leith gave the OK, So here is Ver.1.0. More forthcoming. Thanks to TA/Kudzu, Leith Platten, Jim Ward and Rich Garber. (All I did was paint the cowling.) And yes Jim, I think I will `grease and grime` it up and see how it looks.(LOL)

I wouldn't do that, there's a quarter ton of turtlewax coating all his equipment, so the grease wouldn't stick anyway. Anytime a fly tries to land on one of his engines it breaks all six legs and slips right off. Rich even insists on doing his own maintenance when he loans me equipment for heavy traffic schedules, he don't want me climbing on his engines with my greasy coveralls.

Hey sniper what is your problem, I may have made the mistake of posting a pic of my repaint on one of your threads and am sorry for that.
But there is no need to get nasty for that, I try to paint the loco's and have not succeeded in weathering them, so that is why they are what they are.
I read the other post where you call me an obnoxious SOB, and have maintained my composure till now cause you keep, ragging on my repaints and on other matters too.
I could tell you something about what you could do, with your whatever but am not gonna drag myself down, and if you find it a problem then tough.Leith P.

Hmmm, charter member, but that don't tell you much since anyone that's been here a couple months is a charter member. I wasn't criticizing your repaint, it a beautiful work of art, and weathering it for the O&WV would actually be a mistake! So in that one I was poking fun at him, not you.Moral of the story is, don't go jumping to conclusions, especially when you don't know the past history. Me and Rich rag each other all the time and put on a show of furious cut-throat competition, but we actually work together and help each other out from time to time with our route work.

Okay I wish to appologise for being a complete jerk, I definitely take things the wrong way.
Rich has asked me to weather the loco's but have told him that I tend to have very little success in making them look right so that is why I have not tried to weather them.
Anyway again I am sorry for going off the deep end, like I did I tend to get carried away a bit too much, I hope that my foolishness has not upset you in anyway because of my stupid comments.

Jeez, and all I did was take a great repaint of a Loco and paint a cowling for it, and look what I started. When I saw Jims posts I couldn`t stop laughing. I was joking when I said I was going to grease and grime it up a little. I would not touch someone`s repaint that way. I like My Locomotives both ways. It was not my intention. There is great talent floating around here and our sense of humor should be one of the binding ties. Each in his own right.

Been enjoying MSTS since June 2000, after I chased the FedEx man down the street when he missed my house. Jim and Rich have not only been major contributors ( along with countless other's) but have put in a much needed sense of humor in this commonly dry subject of trying to get MSTS to work as its supposed to. I always look forward to the excellent pic's in this forum.Dejoh
