I've just a seen a posting claiming that York-Manchester will be the UK route for MSTS 2? I have been waiting for news of just what the UK route will be for the past 3 and a half months now. As long as this route is portrayed reasonably accurate to the real line, this could be quite a nice UK route. So is it REALLY true then? Or are you just having us on?

Looks like I am Cassandra again! LOL It is/was the proposed UK route, because I got it from someone who works/worked for KUJU, plus another source, but now that KUJU are not involved, it could be anything. I have no idea if Microsoft will use any of the routes that KUJU were working on. David
And I refer you to this post in reply to your posthttp://www.train-sim.com/cgi/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=19678&forum=DCForumID3&omm=60&viewmode=Rich Garber
To be honest, I find NDAs a nonsense with regard to a PC sim. Do they think TrainZ will nick the idea? It is hardly the route of the century! As I mentioned on the MSTS forum, I do not use thumbscrews to get the info, it is passed on voluntarily, with no requests for discretion. In other words, there are one or two (or more), unhappy people working for KUJU. Even more now that the Sim is gone!David
Don't you think Mideast is good enough? I think Whistlers operates York to Manchester at sometime, and Black 5's ran over everything.-- Tom Beevers http://brj.rr.nu
