Contest: We Support Our Troops – image 1

LAST EDITED ON Mar-10-04 AT 10:26 PM (EST) by IcyFire (moderator)

I saw some pictures and screengrabs of Conrail's 6707, the yellow ribbon unit. So, I've decided to start a contest to show off We support our Troops or other patriotic locomotives.Rules-
1. Must be a MSTS in game shot
2. Shot is limited to 640x480 pixels in dimension
3. Contest is over at 2359 hours Central Time (GMT-0600) on February 15, 2004
4. My entry is not eligible to win.
5. Entry must have a bicentennial locomotive or other patriotic locomotive in the consist, preferably as the lead unit. I will be contacting a few people to help my judge the contest when it is over. There are no prizes, just bragging rights. I'm working on my entry now. I hope to have it up later this evening.

RE: Contest: We Support Our Troops

Tom, Looks like NALW's. How is it different.
Forgive me if im wrong though. I dont actually have the train-set on my H/D. Just interested to know what you changed?I based my repaint on the existing Bombardier Prototype livery. (you can see pictures from the link below.) NALW chose to use an as of yet fictitious livery, but one which in all likelihood be closer to what a Jet Train may look like if it actually goes into revenue service, based on what the Acela looks like! Which BTW looks very likely in Florida, as it appears Bombardier is the favored contractor for it's proposed High Speed Train service.http://www.train-sim.com/cgi/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=4492&forum=DCForumID1

Three SD70's, two of which are clad in the famous Building America scheme climb out of the Tehachapi Loop at Walong, CA. With a heavy coal drag in tow, the train rumbles up the grade in the shadow of the cement rendition of the cross, on a slightly overcast day in April
