You obviously haven't read book 5 mrwm734. I wrote a fan fic (Fan written Fiction based on the harry potter series) that has many other writers hating me. Without giving the plot away, I said, what if? What if Lord ----Thingy derailed the Hogwarts express. The whole story centers around it, with a very detailed accident (pics courtesy of Train Sim) and in the end, a very curious twist.I will be uploading this to an internet site soon, and I'll post a link.I will give you a bit of a hint to the surprise though. Someone you'd never expect (Not harry either) has turned dark, and look for a hero in an unexpected place.

I'm in the process of reading it, and I'm up to chapter fifteen. Since I haven't finnished it, my brother has told me some of the stuff that has happenned in the book. He gave me a heads-up as to what's going on(poor Sirius). He got his copy first, and finnished it later that day. The castle was made by using the default buildings on the Settle Carlisle route. I used the peak-roofed factory and turned it upside-down burrowing the chimney and then used the churches as the towers and stuff. I'm quite prowd. I think that Dumbledore would love using american locos, but I'm not so sure about Proffessor Umbridge. She would say something like "steam locos are muggle artifacts, and shouldn't be tampered with".mrWM734current project: B&O R.R. "Atlantic"

I think you should upload the Route too . It looks really cool . As for the sounds just set up an alias in the .eng folder ( See Kevarcs tutorial at the Lone Wolf Forum over at 3dtrains ) and there should be no problems . And for the J.K Rowling part I don't think she would mind Southern Pacific will live on forever in the hearts of the Red and Gray Railfans Hogwarts Express – image 32

Yay! I've actualy created a small drawing of such an engine.
It looks just like a normal outside-frame steam engine but with the wheels removed and the pistons and axles driving generators betwean the frames, each axle drives one generator./JonatanSteam rules! Hogwarts Express – image 46

If I ever have problems finding Pictures of certain things I tend to look hard into Yahoo or Google. You just never know what you might find. In fact the front of the train is in one of the Movie Trailers to Harry Potter 2. You might want to go look for that I'm preaty sure you can find it.
