Since the thread was getting so long in the Screen Shots forum, I decided to make a new post here. On Saturday Oct. 18th, members of the Southeastern/Atlanta MSTS Group will be riding the rails. We are departing from Chattanooga TN, into Georgia, through Chicamauga on onto Summerville, GA on the Tennessee Valley Railroad. We invite all MSTS fans to join us for this special trip. Tickets are only $77 and include a dining car luncheon on board the train. At Summerville the engine will turn around on the new turntable installed there for the return trip. For more info go to www.tvrail.com or call 423-894-8028 to order tickets. Tell them you are with the "John Tackett" group.Attendees so far include: Bill "Tree frog" Burnett - Creator of the world famous SeaView routes Ed "Hawk" Hawkins - Bridge builder and all around great guy, and me John "ATSFDUDE" Tackett, creator of such MSTS objects as Krystal Restuarant, Stuckeys, and the ever popular KFC "Big Chicken"If I missed anyone, my apologizes. Just let me know.Hopefully Dan Zollner of 3DTrains will also be there. -- John Tackett --Previous thread http://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/DCForumID15/1880.html

John, I'm still planning on making an appearance. I've been quite busy the last week getting prepared for my trip to California which I depart on tomorrow. I haven't had a chance to get my tickets reserved, but plan on doing it while heading northbound on Amtrak's Cardinal tomorrow morning from Indianapolis to Chicago. Getting down to Chattanooga (where I've always wanted to go) and getting to meet you fine folks is something I don't want to miss. I'll shoot you and Ed an e-mail when I get back from California. Regards, Dan Zollner - 3DTrains http://www.3dtrains.com
Looking forward to it. Maybe the trip will give me some inspiration to build some new things for MSTS (or at least some ideas for my HO layout.) -- John Tackett --
