OK, I really don't have time to search every last fork of every last track on that route, I do have a life after all, but I'm quite interested in finding this. Can someone tell me where it is?

RE: Can someone tell me how to find the secret area in

No one's going to tell you where it is. You should continue exploring every inch of the route if you want to find it. Better yet, make notes of where in Sea View that you've visited before. That way, you'll cut down on the number of areas in the route and it should be easier for you to locate it...

I agree and if you do find a secret location. Do not reveal or show any screenshots on here as per author's request. It does say it in the route's "readme" text. Someone did get flamed a few months ago on this forum for revealing it. BTW, it's not any fun if anyone tells you where everything is. That would take the fun of exploring the route.Ken

> can anyone...Naaaaw, don't think so... Well, it isn't that difficult to find after all, it won't take your life besides MSTS. And once you're on the "right track" taking you there, you will certainly not miss it. For granted. (If you want to find it fast, use your brains and think how you could locate the spot without having to drive around randomly for gazillions of hours - it's elementary, my dear Watson). He he, don't we love to tease them impatient ones Lukas a.k.a Swissie

It's all good. I have just created my exploring machine... a Dash 9 capable of 0-310 mph in five seconds and can brake to 0 in eight. Should make matters MUCH easier.Umm, I need a clue though. You don't have to break the rules of physics in the game to get there right? It's not an invisible switcher or some deal where you have to go through all the tunnels in the right order because that's just sadistic.

You do have to go through some tunnels, but not in any particular order.I'll probably get flammed for this, but here's a clue:There's sand in my Mango.Hawk"First thing I remember knowin', was that lonesome whistle blowin'-And a yungun's dream of growing up to ride-

Well if you have a life, and more important things to do, why did you even bother downloading Seaview? SV is one of those routes that you could run on for days and weeks and never see it all.Seriously, we all have lives here, but finding the secret part of SV is something you should find on your own, not be led to it with somkeone holding your freaking hand.Find it yourself, or move on.Chris Bogley

I just downloaded Seaview today, and I found the secret area. It's really cool. If you want to find it, take no passengers because they might take pictures. Make sure you forget everything you see once you discover it.mrWM734Can someone tell me how to find the secret area in Sea – image 6

Well, you can't do ANYTHING with the way MSTS's Route Editor is designed. =PPersonally, I found it entertaining to find the secret spot. Whoever designed SeaView (I apologize, I forget your name. ^_^;; ), I give him many applaudings for his creativity and all his time and effort put into making the frickin' route. (How many route miles is SeaView 3, anyway?)

LAST EDITED ON Aug-10-03 AT 09:15 PM (EDT)

I second your applause to the creator of Seaview. The 'Main Line' is about 90 route miles, but there are so many alternate routes that you could wander all day with only incidental bits of duplicate milage. I wonder which of the 'Secret areas' the correspondent above has found. There are several that could be so described.
1. Mystery Island; I still haven't figured out what they do inside there.
2. Cloaked Island; I don't know what they do in there, either, but the place is very busy.
3. The 'Vault'; Seems to be a secret research center for biotechnology. I always wondered why there are police guards at only the east end, and the west end is unguarded.
4. And that 'Other Place' we aren't supposed to talk about.Dan

Well I figure I got it but I only would have doubts because it's not that exciting. Once you get there, it's sort of like, you go in, you look around at the stuff that's there, then you leave.

So I take it that you went around the "Loop?" Or did you just see the "signs?" You must go "through" a "sign." Try it in my Seaview Express v2.1, the "effects" at high speed will be "exhilarating.""Take Care" Kurt

JVK-
Sounds to me like you found the vault. That's not the area we're talking about.
Did you go through a kalaidescope of tunnels?Hawk"First thing I remember knowin', was that lonesome whistle blowin'-And a yungun's dream of growing up to ride-

No I know it wasn't the vault. Let's just say when I got there there was indeed much color in the tunnels. Then when I was in the area I saw what there was to be seen and it just took me right out. There weren't any forks or other ways to go though.

Welp! Seems like you found it.
I thought it was pretty incredible, considering what it took to create it.
I'm going to open my mouth, and get ready to stick my foot in, but I would guess that you have yet-to experianced the joys of the Route Editor.
