Dec-20-01, 07:37 PM (EST) 1. "RE: Where are the Turnouts (switches)?" There are no Switches.. You make them yourself by placing a new track ..off of an exsisting track from the spline..http://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/DCForumID9/78.htmlHave a look at that thread...Also may i add that you might be better off asking most of your questions over at http://www.auran.com/trainz/default.htm . Just enter into the forums and ask away Catchya' Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Dec-24-01, 05:23 AM (EST) 3. "RE: Where are the Turnouts (switches)?" Don't forget to add a switch stand or it won't throw.Track tab, Trackside button, drop down list choose "lever".
If the switch is thrown the wrong way use the rotate button and click on it. The lever goes to the other side too, tho. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Dec-24-01, 09:52 AM (EST) 4. "RE: Where are the Turnouts (switches)?" Thanks... that's what I really needed to know. It's a little tricky to get smooth radius turnouts. How many spline points do you find yourself using? Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Dec-24-01, 07:43 PM (EST) 6. "RE: Where are the Turnouts (switches)?" 4 splines in a 90 degree curve: 2 at the beginning and end of the curve and two in the middle at the 30 and 60 degree points of the curve. You can use more if you want to do easements.
