I have uploaded an alpha version of "Austral Bay" for Trainz to the file library. It is complete, apart from texturing and foliage. As time allows I will texture the route, but real life commitments mean that this may take some time - hence my decision to release the route as it is.Full instructions for installation of the route and for setting up the AI trains are included in the readme file. Please read it!A number of assets are required from the Trainz Download Station. In the readme I omitted to mention that one external download is also required for the concrete track used by the AI trains. This can be found at:http://www.hp-trainz.de/html/free_sc.htmlPlease download the MP-Track Pack.Sorry! The final version will require no external downloads. As I say in the readme, feel free to experiment and do whatever you like with this route.Below are screen shots of the Huff metal casting plant that I textured yesterday evening. A search under "philskene" in the Screenshot Forum will also show other textured areas that I have experimented with.Enjoy.Phil

RE: "Austral Bay" now in the file library

Thank You, Phil It's a Very Large Route. I put the route in place, then allowed "TrainzObjects" to go fetch the missing content. It loads up just fine, nothing missing (I already had the "MP Track Pack").I did not have a lot of time, but did some exploring of the route (about 10%). I can understand WHY you said it'll take a while to texture. Man, it's huge!!I followed some of the mainline and I really liked the way you presented the bridges (under construction), and the tracks all flow very nicely! I will play around with this more in depth this weekend when I have more time.Thank you again for your HARD WORK (It Shows ). I think it'll be a lot of fun just to play around with, and will certainly enjoy exploring it.Bobo88

Hi Bobo -Many thanks for the comments. It's always a relief to know that a route installs and works correctly on somebody else's computer.I've posted more screenshots in the Screenshot Forum of progress to date. If you compare it to your untextured version it will give you an idea how the final version will look.Phil
