RE: Help!

what version of trainz are you using if its TRS 2004 follow below instructions:
how do i explain this, its natural to me but i've been using trainz for quite a while now, ok here goes.start Trainz
at main menu screen go to surveyor
select layout that you want to drive on
click on right-hand button( the one that shows up green when you move the mouse over it)
you are now in surveyor
either by using F8 or by clicking on the black train wheel this brings up the consist and car menu
using scroll up or down to view list of cars and locos (you will need a loco to be able to drive on the route)
select one that takes your fancy
with the plus button selected with green(it rings the button in green)(plus = add item to route, x = delete)(should be activated by default)
place pointer over rails and click, you should now have a loco on the rails
now for the confusing part:
to actually drive with that loco you need to save the session
using the menu select save it should come up with a box asking if you want to save, the default settings are ok for now, click ok to save
voila, you have now created a session.
returning to the main menu select driver and scroll down to find you session load the session and drive forever
the settings are entirely customisable, you can change weather patterns etcif on the other hand you are using UTC(or less):
go into surveyor have a look round the route if its one you've created you will have the add trackmarks. these are where the consists will start on the route. to add trackmarks go to the track laying menu F4 click on the right-hand-most button in the menu there you should find two objects, one will be called trigger point, the other trackmark, with add object on(plus sign) click on some empty piece of track to place a trackmarkif its one you have downloaded then go in driver as the trackmarks are already placed so you start driving as soon as you have selected your loco and consisti hope this gets you started in trainz for more infomation head over the the Trainz website at http://www.auran.com/TRS2004/default.htmlook for drphlox on the forum there
