Guys...I would dearly have loved to post this on the Auran Trainz forum, but because I am not a Trainz owner YET, (am waiting for the new version) I've had to post here. It is clearly detailed on the Auran site, that Trainz is being configured to run in close proximity with Nvidia and the new Geforce 4 cards. What about us that are running ATI cards - is there going to be a display issue?? I beleive from a demonstration I had back in June, there are current display issues, particularly with bogies, if running ATI cards. I certainly dont wish to waste the cash in buying if I cant get the best out of it...Thoughts anyone...OZ

I don't think you will have a problem with an ATi card. I am pretty sure I read they are fixing those ATi problems. With my current ATi card, I do not get that many problems. I have an old card too..

RE: Trainz 2004 & Geforce 4 / ATI

I would recommend waiting for Trainz Railroad Simulator 2004, as I have heard that any ATI problems have been sorted out. Apparently the have an Ati Card running in one of the lead programers machines at the Auran office and TRS2004 doesn't cause any problems.I own a Geforce4ti4400 so I have no expreience with the problems some ATI users mention, but I have heard it doesn't effect everyone.I hope that helps.BTW you can post questions on Aurans forms, however I think you are limited to the general forum. Everybody there are over anxious to help you out regardsAXE
