I downloaded the demo from Strategy First's site and installed it on my computer. Everything went OK with the install and it starts up OK but when I try to choose any of the options (Driver, Scenarios, etc.)from the opening menu screen it either freezes up or gives me an error message. My system specs:P3 600 mhz Geforce 2 256 RAMso it seems like it should have no problem. I have the latest NVIDIA drivers installed. The only thing I can figure out is I have Direct X 9.0 installed. Would this have anything to do w/it? Anyone else experience problems with this download? Thanks for any input.Scott Smith
Not sure mate. I have Trainz full version and it runs well with Directx9. Which renderer are you using ? OpenGL or Direct X ? When you start Trainz do you get a menu with the option Configure Trainz? If so click on it and go to the advanced bar and in the refresh rate section change both options to Auto. I hope that helps.RegardsAXE
AXEI've tried reinstalling and have tried both Direct X and OpenGL. I can reach the "configure" menu so I'll give your advice a try tonite and see what happens. Thanks for the advice.Scott Smith
