Woodbridge Softworks and Trainz Assistance Community are proud to announce their first ever collaboration.Brian (Woodbrdge) of Woodbridge Softworks and Dave (NYOW2000) of TAC have put together the NYO&W (New York, Ontario & Western Route).Starting from Brian’s original NYOW30 route, the project expanded from there. The route now consists of 70+ miles of track, and all stations between Middletown and Summitville and then intermediate stops to Cadosia. Most of the route is double track mainline, but there is also a branch line off to Wurtsboro, NY.Brian created the inner loop, which you could spend hours on just running multiple consists.Dave later added the outer loop and connection to the inner loop.We like to think of this as a perfect route for many users, especially those with slower systems for the following reasons;1. Strategically placed scenery to keep frame rates up.
2. Double track mainline, for multiple consist running.
3. Only 5-6 pieces of Custom Content all available on the Download Station.
4. Perfect for scenarios.
5. Great for long haul passenger and freight as well as local runs also.
6. Over 70 miles to explore.
7. Actual landmarks such as the Highview Tunnel, Fallsburg Tunnel, Route 17, Middletown Yard & Shops, and more. The outer loop also contains 4 baseboards from the NYO&W Section of Dave’s Erie Limited Route. The NYO&W was a passenger and freight railroad serving New York State up until 1957. The railroad ended passenger service in 1953. It has been called one of the most scenic lines in the Northeast due to the mountainous terrain of New York State it traverses, the many rivers it follows, and the many small towns it stops at.This route will be available on the Download Station within a day or two, in the meantime, the route will be available at:Woodbridge Softworks website: http://www.trainsimmodeler.com/NYOWRoute.cdp
And at TAC:

Attention: If you download the route from either of these two websites, you may get a error message that says you are missing content. That content or KUID may be the actual route since UTC wishes you only to obtain creations from the Download Station. Please feel free to let us know what you think. And thanks for your interest in this great collaboration.
