Hi. I have just recently downloaded the new Trainz Demo and installed it. The first screens load ok where I can choose my consist, etc., but when I try to start the game the screen goes completely black and nothing happens. Does anyone have any input on to why this is occuring and suggestions to remedy it? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I had something similar happen. After I selected a consist and a starting point, I got an error message (white type on black background, though hard to read). Eventually I figured out that my consist didn't fit in the track space. I had to change my starting point on the terrain menu before I started "driving" (i.e. hitting the green button).I'm assuming you're talking about the UTC demo. Have you tried running the scenario? If so, does it load properly?Paul Metzger

RE: Trainz Demo Won't Load

Hi. I figured it out. It was actually a driver issue with my ATI Radeon 7200 video card. I updated the driver and whala!! Even though it wasn't a trackspace/starting point problem, thank you very much for your help, Paul Well, gonna try out some Trainz
