I don't know why nobody else has answered. The cabviews in Trainz are real 3D with the possibility of different camera positions within the cab. I think the advantages are clear, the disadvantage is that they may not be that detailed like the TA cab's.Otto
Luckily.. I just happen to have some pics http://www.auran.com/trainz/forum/showthread.php?s=a79099dd5a35d2018d4935e1785ebb3c&threadid=21214(And i cant remember how to put pics in this forum so you'll have to look on that site.)This is a Gp38 using the new Camera positions available in the new Ultimate Trainz Collection (UTC) using the { and } keys to camera positions either to the left or right.. When your in the camera position (And its a mere split seconds between camera views) You can right click with mouse and swivell your view around 360 degree's ! and look just about anywhere (Theres no 'strafe' as such.. but im sure it will come), Other Trainz have different camera views.. the SW 7 for example has views on the front and rear coupler.. The V200 had heads out views... Its all upto the individual modellers where they place there camera's.. I dont know if 8 camera's is the limit tho.. But it sure beats 1 Catchya'
