The track is free and gmax files are included:
http://www.mbanfield.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/trainz/custom_content_rails.htmlThe AC4400s/dash9s are payware at $6 per roadname (it is not my site BTW)
http://www.digitalroundhouse.com/Comments:
The turnout/switch laying process is a two step process (one step process in MSTS) with this new finescale track. Also a 2m filler track has to be placed between successive turnouts in a ladder track scenario.

<<new routes,and rolling stock>>
The routes are out there but I am sure there are not any with the new track yet. You will not find quite as much of the modern rolling stock as in MSTS.

<<impact these new tracks have on FPS>>
The finescale track has 2m segments
The default Auran track has 4m segments.
4m and 8m segments were added to the finescale track set to reduce frame rate hits. Thus the 2m would be used on curved track with tight radius and the 4m/8m track would be used on wide radius to straight track work
