Since i had MSTS in August last year and Trainz since december last year i allways had 1 dream: Make a large yard for shunting.
I tried it at least 5 times but failed each time to make it work. This time however it goes very well, and as my knowledge of Traiz increases i find it much easier to make the many connections required for these yards.I am trying to make the Kansas City Terminal Area yards for which i found the map on the Union Pacific website (www.up.com).Since i have no other information, nor did i request it when i started, it became partly fictional.Picture 1: Objective, the route should contain this area. I am now working on all the lines within the yellow area.Picture 2: Part of 18th str. Yard. When the adjoining Armourdale Yard is finished it will be 35 tracks wide. You see also the bridge where the KCS crosses the UP lines. In reality it might be a tunnel but this has more impact.
