Jan-06-02, 03:22 PM (EST) 1. "RE: Trainz and Windows XP" I haven't tried the demo, but the full release is running fine here on Windows XP.Athlon 1.2Ghz with Geforce 2 GTS and Turtle Beach Santa Cruz for what it's worth. Worked fine with a SB Live also though I replaced that with the Santa Cruz due to the Via south bridge / sblive data corruption bug.Diego Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

If you upgraded from previous version of Windows, you might wanna consider clean Install.

Jan-07-02, 06:10 AM (EST) 4. "RE: Trainz and Windows XP" The biggest problem we've had with XP is that it doesn't load OpenGL drivers by default - you need to install new drivers. You could also try editing the trainzoptions file with -
-render=renderdirectx (see the Trainz FAQ for more details)The team are all back at work today and looking into these issues and more. I'm sure the problems will diminish shortly.Tony Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jan-07-02, 10:09 AM (EST) 5. "RE: Trainz and Windows XP" Tell us what kind of Computer you have.
If you have ATI card, you will defenately need to install new drivers since Windows XP's Drivers doesn't support OpneGL.
Good point Tony.
