Hey experienced repainters! If anyone wants to do some repainting for me, let me know cause I don't know how to paint and I'd like some repainted stuff. There's only one rule: You MUST have MLT's Sandpatch route and all the locos that came with it. If anyone wants to help out, email me at LRCLover@hotmail.com I'll send you the locos I need repainted and a texture sample from a GP38-2 repainted in MSTS Paint Shed of the skin they should go into. If anyone would like to help out, email away! -Andy the LRC lover

Andy, I think what he's asking is what you're offering in return. You're asking a lot here, even though you've been offered links to freeware paint programs in your previous posts. You might have better luck if you head down to the mall and sit on Santa's lap. And don't forget to say "please"... "I want" just isn't gonna cut it with the Big Guy...

Me thinks that maybe if he offered to buy the sandpatch route for the person who did this, that might work

Andy........We are going to have a hamburger cook out..You are invited...The only rules are,YOU must bring steaks and beer for the rest of us..
Andy,I do feel there are some kind souls here who would re-paint for you,but you just cannot set down "rules" for them on how they are going to do YOU the favor..(Did you not realize you were asking THEM for a favor, and not the other way around?)..
These re-painters are ARTISTS and have developed talents some of us do not have..I would not expect to tell Van Gogh to paint my portrait, and them tell him what grade of paint to use,(unless I was going to PAY him for the work....

Repainting takes time and patiance and if you have something that you want someone to repaint, but they dont like that thing, your gonna have someone whose unreliable. I like repainting, but I'm not gonna spend my time one somthing that I don't particually want to do.I'm sure that there is someone out there who will offer to do this, If you go about your questioning a little differently. Good Luck

Time Out!
Andy....Do you have the locos provide for repaints?? I would take a look at repainting, but ....my rules clearly states that any Payware routes or rolling stock are not to be passed around like freeware. That is completely disrespectful to MLT. How do we know your not trying a quick scam to get payware stuff. Maybe you should download a paintshop program and try it yourself.

RE: Hey Experienced Painters Please Read

Actually, yes I do have the locos to repaint from Sandpatch. I tried paintshop but all 5 of my trys didn't work. The only reason I have the rule that you need Sandpatch is because I don't want to arrange the whole repaint thing with someone then have them tell me they don't have the locos. Sorry.-Andy the LRC lover
