Based on NALW's F40PH. Thought I would give this one a try. A work in progress - and hopefully will include a new cab. The cab is based on Grame Cox's (NALW) F40PH cab. Also a work in progress. Too many projects "in progress" The first pic is of Maine eastern #265 and the second pic is of the updated cab with a WABCO 26C brake and a modified cab80 control. (phew)Dwight

>Too many projects "in progress"I know that's right. I've got at least a half dozen in various stages of completion, but I'm so pissed off with it they may never get finished.

LOL…,
I’ve got four at hand.
And can’t seem to get any of them done.
I’ll make improvements to one, then think I should do that to the other, then the other, then the last.
Then jump back to the second, or the third, then the…………….Have a sparkling day.

That Locomotive looks awesome!!! I remember when they came through here on Guilford Rail System. Alot of people caught them at the Hoosac Tunnel and then at East Deerfield. Very nice! Where did that cabview come from? Looks really good.Ryan

RE: Maine Eastern RR

A Note to All:
Thanks to everyone who posted here on the compliments. What does one do when the turkey is in the oven and the kids are busy doing something else? So I whipped this one up using pics that friends sent me as an "encouragement". Still have some minor details to paint. The engine is NALW's Amtrak F40PH and I repainted using the FBL repaint posted in train-sim. This one had quite a bit of detail left so it made it easier to "retrace"
In reguards to the cab. I started off with NALW's F40PH cab, included with the Amtrak engine. I used this as the outline/guide and then went crazy using PSP7 and some rough ideas from the owner's manuals. Even tho not protypical down to the last screw I tried to make it a "generic" cab thats somewhat accurate.
When I finish the engine I'll post it here.
Now to remember what has to be finished with the other projects in the paint oven. Dwight........
