Re texturing a cab – image 1

I posted a similar question in the Cab Design forum but have not gotten a response (my guess is little activity there). I'm reskining some Amtrak switchers. And I'm using the SW cab found in the file library. The problem is some of the switchers have different window configurations then the cab view. So I tried to change it.I reskined it including the alphas for the windows. So when I exported it and saved it over the existing cabview with TGATool, I figured all was good. But when I went into the sim it was the original cabview. Nothing had changed. I tried three more times and each time the original cab appeared. Is there something special that has to be done for cabviews? I'm new to reskining so I might be missing something. But I have been able to reskin a loco fine with no problems. So what am I doing wrong or not doing right?Click here to see the post in the Cab Design forum and to see my example pictures: http://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/DCForumID10/621.htmlRe texturing a cab – image 2
