It's me again, new question. I went on a repainting spree while building my fictional railroad. I wanted to organize my trainset folder to just include my new engines and cars, but when I delete the orginal engines and cars I get an error type message, either eng. file or wag. file not found. How can I fix this problem?

RE: duplicate files

The original engines and cars are used by activities in the default routes. These activities are looked at by MSTS when it loads and each item of stock is checked to see if it exists. If it is not in the trainset folder then an error is generated. To remove these errors, you have to remove the consists, activities, services and traffic files. This will leave you with no activities on these routes. The other way is to reinstall the stuff you deleted, to stop the errors, then work your way through the consists replacing the defaults with your repaints.Beer is not a matter of life and death. It is much more serious than that.
