Curt:Ok...wife gone to work, got busy on requests. I did all four boxcars but after further review in shape viewer....I had to pull two boxcars. They did not look right at the ends, so they are on standby until I can repair them with better textures. I uploaded the other two and hope you like them.

WOW, excellent job!!! They really look great. And I could certainly live with the ends of your "rejected" cars, but I know you're a perfectionist, so I'm sure they'll turn out fantastic as well. Thanks so much for taking these on; really appreciate your time and effort.

This is a noobies (re-skinning-wise) question, so go easy on me if at all possible This may be obvious for everyone else, but do you consider the problem with the ends to be the slightly lighter color? I know you said texture not color, but don't know if there is a distinction there or not.Otherwise, I'm evidently not looking for the right thing and could use some help to further my education! Robert,I made the dum dum mistake by painting in the color rather than using Brightness/contrast and Hue /saturation. By not painting over the shadow This would allow me to keep the 3d texture and not look so flat and pasty pink. My WC boxcars came out better this way.

Thanks for the help on this. Like everything else with MSTS, there's a lot more to re-skinning than meets the eye The problem with a few of us (me in particular) is it takes giving me a black eye before I can see what's wrong Thanks againbtw, love those MP cars. Used to see them all the time and brings back many memories.RobertR .. ADF-M&RM at http://www.adfrr.com
