Hey all-I was lookin at a bunch of dekosoft skins and what not, and theyre textures are a bunch of different shades of yellow or grey or red etc that when viewed normally look like a shade of that color. When zoomed in you can see all the differnt colors. How can i do this effect? Is there some setting in psp that will do this?
Also, can anyone give me a quick tutorial on layers and stuff...when i go to paint a box of color, how do i get the outline of the box to disappear? any general info anyone can provide would help a lot....im trying to make my reskins better but the program does so much i dont know where to start! Thanks!Kevin V.

It's a "weathering" technique that helps make the skin look "not new" though if it's over done, it will make the loco look bizarre in the sim. Balance is the key.
