RE: CNW SD50

Hi Brock,Look'n Good !!!Just an FYI: Dick made some improvements to the SD50 shape file along the way - however - it was not issued as a patch... I used it on my Chessie and Clayton (yellowdog) I think used it on his CSX locos... You may want to download one of those - and - swap the shape - you will gain a nice 3D hatch on the short hood and some other improvements...Keep up the good work...Regards,
Scott

RE: CNW SD50

Hi Brock,Just one suggestion - I would add some variation to the paint - lighter / darker area's - as it would appear in nature... It's real easy to do and adds a considerable realism to the model...Again - keep up the good work... I really like the 50's...Regards,
Scott

Okay, yah the paint shade thing was always in the plan. I posted some updated over in the SS forum. As for the updated shape files, I check them out in a few days when I can actually get into the FL.

RE: CNW SD50

FYI, the locos I used for my CSX repaints were specifically constructed by Dick to have headlights in the nose rather than above the cab, so don't waste your time downloading mine if you need a model with a headlight above the cab!
