I'm trying to texture the boiler of a steam locomotive in Gmax. My texture has rivets. I've tried everything I know to do and then some but I always get elongated rivets at the top and bottom of the boiler. The rivets on the sides are okay.I'm thinking I'm missing something here but can't figure it out. I've run through several tutorials but can't find anything on this.Any help would be appreciated.

I still can't get perfect results but this was very helped and explained the situation. If any are interested it can be found at http://www.railpage.org.au/steam4me/trainsim/tutorials/ro_gmax_10.html
