Where can I find a freeware southern GP30? I've tried repainting one, but it turned out looking like a drawing on paper. There isn't one in the F/L but I have seen a freeware unit in southern paint.ThanksJason Underwood

Yes, they did have one, but I don't know who the original author of it. I still have the CLW GP30's on a CD somewhere way back, just don't know where it is.

GM&O simulations released a payware PACK of southern GP30's.
They have a link on train-sims other sites page.

The MSTS GMO would be ok if some of them were rigged for running long hood forward. Also there poly counts are a little high.

True. Trainz even suffers from the "LHF" issue. That's one thing that always bugged me about my southern GP30 I had. It was set up for SHF, and southern didn't start doing that until the 80's.

Looks like that's attributed to Cameron Lashley, who is (was?) associated with Train Artisan. I think he did the GP30s beforehand, though, and I can't remember if/where they are still available.
