Imagine if we had these in the F/L

Nice UPS trailer on Keith's NS TOFC...my textures btw.What's the deal with UPS and using there logo? It would be nice to have that, but I seem to recall something. NS4Life

Adam: Yes i will reskin them for myslef. but the thing is, i have no way to upload them to the F/L.NS4Life: well i belive none of us are able to get the copyright of the use of the UPS logo.

Before I moved, I used to see FEC well cars all the time on the Q181/182 trains on the old Clinchfield between Erwin, TN and Kingsport, TN.

yea.. i was on a website today for Railfan DVD's. wow there was a couple with alot of UPS trailers. i think it is that UPS service between Cali, and NY.

Thanks for that info guys! With the UPS Cali to NY service....it was orginally a BNSF high speed "Bullet train" with 3 or 4 C44-9W's on the point of about 25-30 cars. For whatever reason, BNSF lost the contract...UP now runs specially geared AC6000CW's in triplets on the train.>Mike Forster<

yea, i was really mad when i heard that. UPRR was also try to take over a Yard from BNSF. I belive this was when UP was looseing people as Engineer's and when they started to tax the model railroads.

Not anymore. CSX and UP both had huge delays, so UPS discontinued the service. The trains still run, though they're just regular priority van trains now. CSX is losing lots of it's UPS business to NS, even though NS isn't much better (what we need is some BNSF or CN management guys to come in and turn around these companies...they DESPERATELY need it). They come through Nashville TN all the time which is where I took those photos (that are mine).I do believe some are in the library???

a couple shots of UPS equipment.......UPS is a tough nut to crack.....always have been. From back when I worked for them til now....by not allowing any use of their logo. Too bad........I hope they realize its complimentary. oh well...
