Hi Shawn,I guess you're talking about the two Guilford cars I uploaded recently.Yes, both cars have the old roof walks. I take a lot of liberties in my re-painting and I *always* use Larry Goss' models, mainly because of the super-detailing he has put on them. However, I can't remove some of his modeling attachments since he deserves not to have them monkeyed with. Thus, I live with the roof-walks and the other older features even when I know they don't have them.I know the cars aren't really exact copies of the real thing. However, I'm not any way near being a rivet-counter, so if you want to run my repaints on your railroad, you're stuck with what I send up.Let's just say I know they aren't that accurate and maybe they can represent the earliest Guilford cars made. That said, I look forward to your more recent versions, Shawn.Actually, I prefer the old equipment because I grew up with it and it takes me back to my childhood days when I used to pickup coal that was lying on the right-of-way. Roofwalks were part of that era, too.Bill Cline

I d like to run them.. or atleast have them a Scenery Objects fro my route.. thing is.. i have not internet service on MY computer.. so i cant download them. i also updtaed the cars i made to more detail cars from Dekosoft and a few other good companys. now they look more realistic.. thing is i cant upload them becuase they belong to Dekosoft.

ShawnYou can remove the roofwalks by using the alpha portion of the .ace file. However, you are left with the rooftop braces, a high ladder, high mounted brake wheels, and trucks with solid bearings that have journal boxes. To all:Is there a good modern 50' box that the detail similar to Larry Goss' PS boxcar, but without roofwalks?
thats alright. what i can do is repaint them into the old MEC yellow and green paint.. and wheather the **** out of them to have em look like the ones used for storage at Riley and Rumford Yards.
