Was working on this for a while now as well (SD40M-3 painted for my proto-freelance railroad). It's taking me forever though and I know there's a quicker way, but I don't know how you reskinners do it so fast. I know about the masking trick, but I can't figure it out in PSP 7 (everything else, I'm good to go with). If somebody would be willing to help, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!- - Nick Wilson

Nick,Is that the Train Artisian SD40-2?If so,their is "Undecorated"bitmaps in the file library.Alot easier to start with,then having to remove all logo's and stuff.

I Use MSPaint still, yes i have a hard time in it.. I was in your position once with a Guilford GP40-2LW and a BN SD40-2.. but now I will have to agree with EMD_GE on the Undecorated versions.

I use a program called Pixia. Do a google search and it will come up.BTW, Its free -Dave

Try Dick Cowen's SD40-2 Reskin kit, it's a whole lot easier than the TA SD40-2. You'll find it in the file library. I started repainting one of the TA SD40-2's a week ago and I just finished the first ace file. I finished an unweathered repaint of Dick Cowen's SD40-2 in three hours once.
