Heres an SD60M two piece window Im working on.
I have ahit a problem as all the grabs on the model are mapped to be the same color...this is a problem for units in BN, BNSF, UP, etc...
Im thinking maybe just release it with green grabs.
Dick, if you read this, any chance you could edit your texture mapping to make each grab iron a different color since the different roads would need them that way? Enjoy,

What a coincidence, I'm working on one too! Didn't want to show it until it was nearly done, however. There is no lettering (except the BN herald, which I've not really positioned correctly yet) because that's usually the last thing I add before weathering. Also, these were intended from the beginning to be BNSF "patched" units, along with some BNSF Heritage 1&2 colours and maybe even that unit with the funky, two-sided, one-of-kind "experimantal" scheme. If I strive through the Easter weekend, I should be able to get most if not all done before my free time vanishes again.BTW, it's actually the "Jolly Green Giant" when referring to BN locos .Jonathan Nikiforovs.

RE: The Mean Green Machine

Yep, your is lookin good...I still have a lot of work to do on mine...How are you addressing the issue of the grabirons? Are you just making them all black?Yours is looking good btw...Im just using ms paint so my repaints are always limited...oh well.
Glad to see your doing some BNSF patches...as for Heritage 1, I dont know if there are any SD60Ms like that...feel free to correct me if Im wrong cus a H1 would look kinda cool...
As for the mean green, ive heard BN referred to as several things, this being one of them, and the one i liked the most. too bad the green and black is disappearing!Kevin V.

There is at least one H1 SD60M running around...Here you goAs for the grabirons, I'm going with green, because most (all but 4) of them are on top of a green surface anyway.Jonathan Nikiforovs.
