Hey you`ll. This one is for ATSF104 who asked me to do this a long

what I have so far. I plan on doing some more wheathering to it.

You wouldn`t happen to know of another number would you?

Looking good Andy! However, I have not seen a Blonde-bonnet with BNSF on the nose. They all still have Santa Fe on the nose...I THINK!I will be sure to download this one! >Mike Forster<

Nice looking model! However, according to this photo they had different trucks than you are modeling....
http://www.trainpix.com/ATSF/GE/B23-7/6369.HTM
Your trucks look like they are off a GM trade in....
Possible since that was common for GE to reuse trade-in components... But if you do you have to make sure that the unit you are modeling applies....Chuck Schneider

Andy...Any chance of a more side on shot?? Those trucks look like a mixture of EMD Blomburg trucks (SCL U-Boats came on Blomberg trucks) and GE Floating Bolster "FB-2" trucks which were introducded on L&N's U23B's (I think they were 23B's)On a side note...Check this locomotive out, its kind of interesting...http://www.trainpix.com/bnsf/GEORIG/B23-7/4200.HTMLooks like MN paint, with a CR blue patch under the cab and "BNSF" stenciled under the cab! >Mike Forster<

Actually the engine that i asked for was a different #. 4224 a very faded yellow (almost white) with little BNSF yellow patch job. Top headlight covered up. With orange air conditioner. If you have the book "Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railway Locomotive Review and Remote Control Units" it is on pg. 71.-Matt ATSF GP60M #104 works on the local in Flagstaff, AZ.www.atsfrr.com

It should be right were the horn is and the horn needs to be moved back into the dip. Simple as pie.
Horn color = blue
A/C = yellow or orange.
Useless info: The engines you are making were built 4/79 and 6/79 6378 is now 4235, 6370 is now 4227 both engines were renumbered 4 times. 6378 renumbered on 2/26/00 and 6370 rebulit on 10/19/99. Info from book named above.-MattATSF GP60M #104 works on the local in Flagstaff, AZ.www.atsfrr.com
