Thanks VERY much to Dick Cowen who managed to model the SD50S's that Hamersley Iron used down here in Australia. The locomotives now have properly mounted P5 horns, double handrails and double insulated roofing plus the Air Conditioning box on the left hand side of the locomotive. Here are some shots of the first of 4 SD50's. Next, Utah Railway SD50's! The HI SD50S's are now at work for Utah Railway as Hamersley are using 32 x C44-9WL's (WooWho!! )>Mike Forster< Perth, Western Australiapacificnational_nr103@hotmail.com
Thanks a lot guys!! Hey Stew...I was having a ball before mate!! Full Bucket Line, There are Canadian ore hoppers that Quebec, North Shore and Labadour use, which are ALMOST identical to the ones HI use. Whack 240 of those on, 4 SD50's and the odd C36-7 (which I have also done!), and you have yourself an authentic HI Ore train!! >Mike Forster< Perth, Western Australiapacificnational_nr103@hotmail.com
