Prototype sd60/ oakway blue color need input

this is the prototype sd60 i have been working on.... i got the blue from a photo, but for some reason i think the blue is too much to the greenish hue. is this color i have used good for oakway and emd prototype engines? i should i make it darker and bluer; or should i leave it as is?

I have to agree with tim
I think that the color is just about right. only thing I see is the GM logo on the nose is wrong.

Blue looks good to me, Bill. I used to see the Oakways alot on the BN here in Illinois. Some nice & shiny and some faded or dirty ! Ron K of Rockford

Outstanding work Bill. I have to agree with Tim, this is your best work yet. And you have surpassed me on that score now, which doesn't bother me. Even if I hadn't been out a year and a half you still would probably have done so. I knew you had the talent all along and why I have supported your efforts all along. Will you be doing a set of them in Oakway markings and numbers? Id sure jump at those!With these, the new NS's, the new CN's etc...MS is going to have some real hard competition for MSTS2....esp once scale rail gets released and everyone starts using that!Awesome engine man!!!!!!

yes i plan to.... in 2 or 3 sets, definitely as deilvered w/o ditchlights and then a modern set with average weathering.... i have NEVER seen a clean oakway Hauling America one pixel at a time

That looks really, really great, man! I noticed that your model has no ditch lights; did the EMD demonstrator units really have no ditch lights?

this emd prototype i have showed there was the as built emd1 sd60 prototype in 1984. at the time, ditchlights were not yet mandated....Hauling America one pixel at a time
