Was watching Milwaukee Pentrex tapes and I saw that some trains had GP40's on them. So I went and painted these up. There pretty much ready to go. A few texture fixes and the lights and theyll be ready. The number that goes just in front of the Dynamic Brake area is not on here cause it is backwards on the other side and looks really bad so I chose to remove it. I also plan to do some GP38-2's in Milwaukee as well. Oh well enjoy the pics. cnw8717

IcyFire and I had a set in the works, but we've been held up in the lighting arena.

RE: MILW GP40's

Hi Brad,
Kelley has had some family issues to deal with and also has some health issues at the moment. I doubt he will feel like doing much very soon.

RE: MILW GP40's

For the record guys, My closest aunt had cancer, and a few other drastic family issues happening all at once.issues. The stuff I did with Paul I did prior to the world crashing around me. The arguing on here about the IC geeps was right in the middle of everything, but I did not bring my issues here, just because of the flaming. My Aunt passed Sunday evening. But the worst is yet to come, as my mom is the executor of the will, and the siblings are at war, and in "gimmie gimmie" mode. I PRAY TO GOD no one has to go through this bullcrap in their life! I could understand it if they were five, but they are in their 40's!I have to be the strong one for MY family right now, and I have not even had time to grieve myself.I haven't forgotten about the GP40's guys. BElieve me I want to get them done. My health has been an issue as of late myself. PArt of it is depression, I know that for sure, but it has been one thing right after another.I apologize to all for ANY delays, but I ask for some slack here. I am not on the forums much anymore, especially right now. If ou need to get ahold of me e-mail me. but right now I am not checking every day....I can't do it. Ron, you should have gotten the same mail I sent to Bob, et all this week. If not, let me know. FWIW, this is NOT a "POOR ME" post. I realize everyone has hard times. THis has just been a personal hell for me right now.
SO I hope no one gives up one me. I am here, but just trying to keep my sanity right now. Thanks guys!

RE: MILW GP40's

Kelley my friend I can certainly sypathize with what you are going through right now. When my mother passed away, my youngest brother was the only one living close to her and decided he wanted everything for himself and somehow got her (while very ill) to be the executor. Now my other brother and I did not fight over money or anything, but we were upset at the way things went about. Everything was sold off, my brother here, and I got a small check about a year later. No, I did not get upset until we found out how much the estate was worth and what amount was sold off, which most went to my youngest brother. A few years later we confronted him and all he would say was that he was executor and it cost him a lot of time and money to do everything. Well, we thought that was ok, except the amount he kept was five times what we got. Anyway, these things can happen and unfortunately, my next younger brother (I am the oldest) and I have not spoken nor heard from our youngest brother in over 4 years. It is sad, but that is the way of the world. I don't care personally about the money, but would have liked to have had some of her personal effects.....didn't even get one picture out of it.
So anyway Kelley, know what you are going through. And yes, I also understand the depression part and all. I am still on meds for that and have been for over five years due to a chemical imbalance (what it really is is contact with Agent Orange but if they admitted that (the VA) I would receive a healthy sum of money, and they are not going to do that. Anyway Kelley, buddy, you hang in there. All this will pass at some point. My condolences for yours and your family's loss. It is a tough thing to go through. I know, but you will. It took me a year and a half to get back here but I am here now, when I thought I would never see this place again. Be strong and know that you have a lot of support here if you need it. If you feel the need to talk to someone who has been through a lot you just feel free to email me and I will send you my telephone number and you can call me anytime you feel the need. You are one of my favorite people here Kelley, so I am pulling for your quick return and will say a prayer for you every night until you are back. All the best. Hang tough.Ranger
