HEy all, Over at http://www.mstsgmo.com/ we are PROUD to release the Illinois Central's Paducah rebuild geeps, and GP11!Many many numbers in many variations will be coming!!! The GP11 is a totally new model, and requires a small donation. With that you get the custom cab and models! The GP8's and 10's are FREEWARE! They are heavily reworked by Paul Fowler and myself for the original great George Mathews model!!What are Paducah geeps???In the late 1960's the IC along with Precision National started a robust rebuilding program of the Illinois Central's GP7 and 9 fleet called GP8's adn GP10's. When the program concluded in the early 1980's, the shops had came up with many different variations of the above units, and even came up with a totally rebuilt unit called the GP11, and SD20 to name a couple. They had rebuilt units for many different roads, including Conrail and the Precision National lease fleet. Many of the units were sold to shortlines spun off of the ICG in the mid 1980's, such as CC&P and Midsouth. Many of them stil survive today in shortline and industrial service, giving them a fine tribute to the shop forces at Paducah!Stop over and see what is there! Files are being added daily. As time progreses, we will be upgrading the units, and adding different variations/details so if your favorite isn't there yet, it is likely they WILL be eventually!Units are being skinned and detailed from the hundreds of photos available to us, and each number is correct to the body type. Enjoy everyone!!
