Could be just his computer or the program he used to create the jpg file with Bradley. I thought that at first looking at it too but having created a lot of skins I know some of mine looked totally different in color when I posted the pics here as to what I used or how they looked in the game. Just a thought. RangerWestern Maryland Railroad Gone, but not forgotten!
INdeed that is probably the case. The RGB values are for pullman green (Ref:Microscale decals and 3Dtrains). I have noticed that on my LCD screen the colors look lighter than on some CRT monitors (which is probably due to settings and such), but I have also noticed that what looks fine in PSP, may look a bit off in MSTS.I still have some adjustments to do so it will probably be addressed before I upload it.BTW, the real FT103 set didn't have dynamic brakes. Anyone know if the dynamic brake box can be alpha-ed out on Dick Cowen's model?GH
Contact Dick and he might do you a version without the dynamic brakes. I too think it should have a thouch more green in it and the stripe should go around the nose. Unfortunately the nose light sits a little too high or is a little too small thus the stripe will not graze the light as it should.Nice selection of prototype.
The stripe does go all the way around. I just haven't posted an updated pic. I want to do a couple more changes, add a little bit of noise, shine it up and such. Here's a real question: EMD had a demo FT ABBA set. What were the numbers of the A units? 103 and ? I read where they were 1030 and 1031 but were changed to 103. Were both A units 103? That would be very strange. 103 and 103A maybe?(Don't forget the B untis were connected by drawbar and could not be operated separately on the original FT units.)GH
I've seen old photos with the lead unit numbered '103A', no number from what I could tell on the B-unit. Could it be the lead AB set was numbered '103A' and the trailing set '103B'?
