Hi all,I'm trying to identify this particular font, which was used on Victorian Railway (Australia) locomotives fom the late 19th century until the early/mid 20th. I have heard it described as Arabic, but so far a search has given me nothing to go on. Sorry about the cropped 2, and the rough pics, but it was all I have at the mo. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot.Cheers, Matt Austin
I see what I can dig up. I have found a very close "sample" font in my collection by VGC, though it's only have an "unnamed" (darn it) VGC SAMPLE from LETRASET... I'll do dome more digging.Pete Willard
Hi MattYou might be interested (if all else fails!) in this site as it has a working demo version of a font creator, where you can convert bitmaps from scans into TruType outlineshttp://www.fontfreak.com/index2.htmLike Pete, I'm also checking my font references.Cheers Ken SCL/CSX A-Line Project
