Transparent Locomotive windows – image 1

I have a question regarding transparent windows on a locomotive. I am trying to make transparent windows for a locomotive that currently dose not have them. I used the TgaTool to create an alpha channel. I then blackened out only the areas with windows and I still get no windows in the game. I then named the new file with the alpha channel the same as the old one and it saved over it fine. Is there anything I need to change in the .eng file to make the windows work ?

Sorry, you can't simply add transparent windows by just changing the texture. The shape itself (the s-file) has to be updated to accept the alpha channel in the texture file. Such an updated shape can only be made by the original creator of the engine.
