The Conrail logo is mirrored on the trailer in the middle pic.. But maybe that's how it is supposed to be?

Nice job only seen that train once and boy i got lucky when i saw it. It had 2 SF GP30's and a GP7 (i think) #1664 low-nose. Anywayz it was a pretty long train probably about 40-60 cars.-MattATSF GP60M #104 works on the local in Flagstaff, AZ.

Chris, you always have and always will do a great job on all of your skins. Attention to detail is obvious in all your work. Now, if we could just get you away from NS and onto something more challenging, like some of the older, now defunct railroads!
Seriously though, on par with your usual great work.RangerWestern Maryland Railroad

In West Park in Pittsburgh on Dec 30 2003, I got a chance to go up close to a fence and a Triple Crown Train passed with the engineer waving. There were still Conrail logos on the trailers!

RE: Triple Crown RoadRailers coming from TKW

I think those Triple-Crowns are neato I live near the I-95 corridor.....see those often...Say, I went to Horsehoe Curve about 5 years ago, and I remember seeing a TC roadrailer train. Some of the trailers appeared quite old, very thick brown stripe, rear axles were streched out, like on some flatbed trucks I've seen (for extra load tolerance)Looks really cool. TKW...dose some really nice stuff!(And it's all free) <Don't get any ideas!>-Jeffrey

Thanks for all the comments guys. A little update on these: I have reworked the shape file in Wordpad and managed to move the truck axles forward and the dolly-wheels back to match the real trailers. I've also fixed the bogie wheels so that they ride on the rails, not in and/or above them like they were.I had a CD with about 1500 project photos that was lost due to a problem with the disc. I managed to save about 75 photos from the disc, but lost everything else. So, alot of the projects I had coming up have been put on the backburner for now (for all of you NS fans, I still have all of my photos of NS power and rolling stock that I have planned) until I resupply my "photo reference library". I do have UP stuff planned (I'm in the process of redownloading the UP stuff I lost) and for mstsman12, I have some Rio Grande GP60's planned as well. Finally, I think I've figured out how to redo the shape file to make these into 48' trailers for Slamtrak, so I may have some Amtrak 48' RR'ers eventually, as well as some Swift (if I can find some good photos).Chris Denbow - Baltimore, MD

www.hankstruckpictures.com This site has TONS of photos. Not road/railers, but lots of pics of actual trucks and trailers that you could use as reference.Scroll down a wee bit and then type "Swift" into the search bar and search www.hankstruckpictures.comYou may have to look a bit to find side on photos, but if you don't need that type, i'm sure you'll find some good references quickly! the RoadRailers look great :)Jay

RE: Triple Crown RoadRailers coming from TKW

When I made these I didn't use any scale for location of parts just put them where they looked right, if someone has right numbers for them I can change them. Thanks
