I recently finished a model that has been a long time in the making. I converted the model, worked out all the UID crap, adjusted pivot point and so on and so forth. Everything runs great. Here's the problem.... While using TSM to texture the model everything lined up and looked great. However when converting over to an ingame model, I get different textures all over (See photo). Basically the all bmp (ACE) files that I used on the model are applied randomly to the model with no rhyme or reason. As a result I'm completely dumfounded. Is there anything that I can do before I spend all weekend going back and texturing the whole model? I used and converted all the right bmp files also. HELP!!?!?!

I dunno if this has anythin g to do with it, but sometimes, if my texture isn't square, i.e. 512x512 or 256x256 etc, the textures get thrown all over the place.. This usually happens in TSM, if I accidently resize a BMP texture, I'm not sure after conversion. I wonder this becaise I see that some of your textures are in place (pilot, doors, fuel tank) and others are out. Nice model, btw.Cheers,
Matt

Hi Keith,
you changed some pivot points ?
May be that the parts with wrong alignment of textures are influenced by these changes !?
Have a nice day

Wouldn't those stay the same? I mean.... I move the pivot points and in TSM everything stays the same. So when I convert it over everything should be fine? Or at least I thought. Regardless of what I do to the model in TSM it still converts over and looks the same way in the game...

Could this be the result of many differant polys in the same part being mapped to differant bmps? I'm about ready to scrap the whole thing and be done with TSM and start all over again with 3D Canvas. Or maybe just say screw it all together!!
