Gentlemen, I have come here after over 6 hours of pulling my hair out and conversing with a friend (also MSTS addict) over this.I have two CalTrain GP9s:-Trainset
--CDTX_GP9 (named CalTrain GP9 #3833)
---GP9.eng
---GP9.s
---GP9.sd
---GP9a.ace
---GP9b.ace
---GP9c.ace
---GP9d.ace
---GP9n.ace
---GP9w.ace
---Readme.txt
---License.txt
---Loco.ace
---Cabview
----GP9.cvf--CDTX_GP9-2
---GP9.eng (named CalTrain GP9 #3842)
---GP9.s
---GP9.sd
---GP9a.ace
---GP9b.ace
---GP9c.ace
---GP9d.ace
---GP9n.ace
---GP9w.ace
---Cabview
----GP9.cvfIn conbuilder 1.7.0 they both show up as two different locomotives.Conbuilder shows no errors in testing either these locomotives by themselves, in groups, or as part of consists. In the sim, they BOTH show up wearing the skin for #3833. It is MADDENING. I have tried renaming the files, and though I do know how to properly go through and change everything (in the ENG file, I have also tried to put the two locos into the same folders to share some of the textures but this resulted in errors galore or worse yet, no errors, they just don't show up.)Any suggestions or help welcomed. On the bright side, I re-skinned the available MP15DC model into Caltrain too. It looks good, IMHO... suggestions and comments welcomed. Also, the MP15DC throws up an error at me in conbuilder about a missing shape file, but loads error-free in the sim... is this something I should worry about? I can't find the shape in question anywhere.I'd be happy to send the files to anyone willing to give me a hand or try basically anything reasonable suggested to fix it... P.S: if you think rain-dancing for the MSTS god might work, I'm game! Tim Frost
