CDTX 3833 and 3833!? work together to pull some ballast across Raton Pass.Work in progress, let me know what you think. Need to make the ditchlights work when on full and change the second unit to 3842. As for the last pic... well, not every WIP screenshot can have a happy ending. Tim Frost

Wow, Nice Skins Tim. Any thoughts to doing the Bombardier cars for the Surfliner when they come out into CalTrain?

Yes, I've given some thought to that, and some thought to making my/UA's own models of the coaches too.Glad you like them. It didn't take long, fortunately BN green was a good base, and thanks to Marc's skin kit it only took about 4.5 hours, including a wasted hour when I made it over-write itself with a different .ace for the decking, of all things. >=(Tim Frost

Ouch , I hate it when that happens . If I were you ( but from reading the name tag on my underwear I can see that I am not ) I would make the other coaches from Caltrain if the Bombardier ones are already being worked on ( Yes Icy I did remember that they are going to be payware and some might not want to buy them )

No , Reread my posts , I asked if you were going to do the Bombardier cars and you said that you were thinking of doing your own Models of them. Now I said if you were going to model anything that you should model the Gallery cars instead of waisting time on your own Bombardier Models Shane Palus

Sorry, got confoozed. The point of 'wasting my time' on my own models is that *if* a payware CalTrain route was to be made it would require its own models as *we* couldn't include FacingPoint or 3dTrains' models with it. Unless *we* paid them. And *we're* already evaluating ScaleRail for inclusion so we'll be paying them for that already. Tim Frost

Thanks. Yeah, I have a couple of things in the way of that first and I need to find some [better] photos, which may require me to go out and take them, but yes I do intend to repaint the available MP15 into CalTrain colours.Tim Frost

Well I can't say I have any intention of running out and modeling an MP36PH-3C this weekend, but it's on *my list* of things. The MP15DC is a repaint, so, I can do that concurrently but the MP36PH is a very major project... going to take [us] a while. Tim Frost
