Alas it can't be done, apparently one can only skin the stock provided with PaintshedGary S

Yeah, it's a little wierd. What it says is that you can export "templates" to use on your own models. What exactly this means, I couldn't tell you. I have the UTC which comes with paint shed. I thought that would be pretty cool until I found that the paint shed had dubious usability.-Jeff

Hello
As Gary said, the problem with Paint Shed is it only works with the Auran rolling stock it comes with, making it of questionable value to the hobbyist. However, if you go get yourself a good graphics program like Paint Shop Pro or Adobe PhotoShop, and team it up with TGATool 2, you can skin any MSTS object you like.GrizzlyMSTS Paint Shed – image 2 MSTS Paint Shed – image 3

TGA Tool won't open s or sd's. The files you want to work with are the .ace files. These are the textures. Open an .ace in TGA Tool. You can then save the .ace as a .tga file. Open the .tga you just created in Paint Shop Pro, and you can now edit it. If you're new to PSP, you'll have to play with it a while to learn to use it.GrizzlyMSTS Paint Shed – image 5 MSTS Paint Shed – image 6
