RE: If this fallen flag was still flying.

Here's a sneak preview of the loco. Any suggestions on the cars. The ones in the sim are just silver with Rock Island on the side. Should I make my cars the same or follow the loco paint scheme to the cars? I'll try some improv. and see what I come up with. You can E-Mail me at c_corp@bellsouth.net if you like.

RE: If this fallen flag was still flying.

Got two done and working on a third. Finished the PRR complete with 6 cars. Fin ished the KCS Southern Belle also with 6 cars, Got CB&Q in the works but not sure if I'm doing the right paint job. So here's all three loco's back to back like I think they should be run.

Looking good! Can't wait for release. Would be nice to see some of the AMD P32, P40's etc. in these paint schemes too!

I'm not so sure about the CB&Q one...I think they used several paint schemes over the years. Though, all in all I would expect to see "The way of the zephyr" on there somewhere...EDIT:Oh, one note, Southern used two paint schemes when it came to the crescent limited. The first, is a green and white (also known as the green and cream schene). This first scheme was pinstriped around the green with a gold tint line. Also, the lettering was in gold with a yellow emblem on the nose door. The problem is, this paint scheme was a pain to deal with, and in the fifties, Southern simplified the scheme. First, the green was painted black, the cream went to snow white, and the lettering was no longer a gold, but a variation on yellow. The pinstripe remained, but it too went yellow. The only green that remained, was in the yellow emblem on the nose. THe big SR inside there was still a green color, actually close to the green on this forum.

Ridin' on the "City Of New Orleans" just takin' in the view! Remember these are Fictoinal and the paintjobs may not match exactly. Just look at it as what they have evolved into over the years. Paul Burtons F59 is not the easiest of engines to paint and has a flaw on the back but by far it is the best model in the sim so I used it. I will try to fill all of the requests so please bear with me. As soon as everyone involved gives their permission, I will upload these as trainsets. 1 loco and 6 S'Liner cars complete with a more modern cabview which I included in the F59-911 in the file library.

I'll take the KCS loco! Maybe you should do a set in the Texas Special colors! Me and ATSF104 would like that! (well, I would. Not sure about him)

haha - the KCS F59 looks super realistic - as in i can see an F59 one day in those colours hauling trains. Prehaps on PCRC when the F40's they are using die Paul1953: I dont think that GO Transit will be able to buy some F59's They have been removed from the catalogue at EMD apparently.

They are being tested now. It's hard to find teseters who can recieve a file from 6-10KB via e-mail. I need to find a better way to send. As soon as I know that the unzipping, installing and running works on other sims and not just mine I will start uploading.

B&O "Capitol Limited"
Set # 6 allmost finished. I used a new carset for this one. They are better than the first ones. Haven't gotten permission to use them yet, I am still working on it. The first few sets are in testing now and should be finished soon.
