GE AC4400CW Demo units – image 1

G'day...I was woundering if anyone here knows where i can get some shots of the AC4400CW's that are in GE demo paint. Its a very attractive Silver, Red with blue stripes down the side of the loco. I have tried all sorts of places, Fallen-flags.org, google, but nothing. For people who dont know the loco, there is a small shot of her in the General Electric edition of TRAINS mag a while ago >Mike Forster<

they are coming!! I have REALLY big exams for my final year - year 12 - so i havnt really worked on much of my 8 repaints, but after the exams in november, i got 13 weeks off until University (college) starts. So i'll be repainting like no tommorow!!Just hang in there - i really want to get started on them too -lol>Mike Forster<

Thanks alot Brain! We have 5 exams (our school exams), a one week break, then another 5 exams to get into university so its a REALLY stressful time at the moment - have had to cut back on alot of things such as g/f's and Train-sim - hehehe. >Mike Forster<

Well - i should really be studying - but hey - i couldnt resist doing one more repaint Here she is - GE AC4400CW with self-steerting trucks. Anyone have any ideas on the GE logo on the nose?? Its giving me nightmares!!! Still LOTS of work to do on the overall loco!Enjoy >Mike Forster<

The GE logo may look intimidating... but it's just the GE logo. Try doing a Google search for "GE logo" and you should find something you can use. It looks like just the letters G and E in script on the nose instead of the full letters-in-a-black-circle logo, but you should be able to extrapolate them from the usual logo. Good luck, and I am looking forward to seeing the finished unit

Small note about the trucks: the GE demo AC4400 rides on MLW-style Dofasco trucks, similar to the GS-C trucks used on the C-40 series. (only thicker) the truck textures from the C40 units in the NALW GE megapack should make a good substitute.Jonathan Nikiforovs.
